Payway® announced today, at Media Finance Focus 2018, that it has begun processing payments for United Communications Corporation (UCC). The new relationship includes processing for two television stations, KEYC-TV and WWNY-TV.
Prior to working with Payway, UCC had multiple merchant accounts for multiple properties, all with their own processors, rates, and pricing structures. This circumstance made balancing difficult and inefficient. With Payway’s help, UCC was able to consolidate all of its payment processing activity into one streamlined product set.
A comprehensive analysis of UCC’s card activity uncovered several savings opportunities. In addition to its lower rates, Payway is able to provide UCC significant interchange reductions on qualified level III transactions. Payway’s consultative approach proved to be invaluable and ultimately led UCC to choose Payway for its merchant account processing and payment gateway needs.
UCC’s Chief Financial and Administrative Officer, Tina Schmitz says, “We are thrilled with the Payway partnership. They truly worked with us to help us understand the complexities of payment processing and how those complexities directly affect our business. And once we were on board, Mary Beth and Sean made sure that our staff was trained properly on how to use and understand all of the systems. James, Jim, and the entire support staff are easy to reach and a joy to work with.”
Payway, by Edgil, is at the 58th Annual Media Finance Focus this week in Arlington, VA, which kicked off on May 21 and will conclude on May 23. For more information, stop by our booth #24 or visit our website at www.paywaycomplete.com.
